Day 1: Monday – Welcome to Stockholm

Arrive in the enchanting Swedish capital, where your Nordic journey begins. Upon landing, you’ll be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to unwind or explore at your own pace. In the afternoon, check the welcome board at the hotel lobby for details about the tour's start and your fellow travelers. Stockholm, often called “The Venice of the North,” will be your first taste of Scandinavian splendor.

Day 2: Tuesday – Stockholm to Mora

After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour through Stockholm—an archipelago of 14 islands connected by over 50 bridges. Wander through Gamla Stan, the medieval old town filled with cobbled streets, ochre-colored buildings, and key landmarks like the Royal Palace, Stockholm Cathedral, and the Nobel Museum at Stortorget Square. We'll pause at Fjällgatan, a hilltop viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas over the Baltic waters.

Around 16:00, leave the city behind as we journey northwest through serene forests and rolling countryside to reach Mora—a quaint lakeside town where Swedish history echoes through every corner. This was the place where Gustav Vasa rallied his countrymen in the 16th century to oust Danish rule.

Day 3: Wednesday – Mora to Trondheim via Røros

We begin the day traveling across the dramatic wilderness of central Sweden and into Norway’s mountainous heart. Our route passes the alpine village of Funäsdalen, a beloved winter haven. Afterward, we reach Røros, a UNESCO World Heritage mining town with colorful wooden houses and centuries-old charm. Wander through its storybook streets and learn about its copper legacy.

By evening, we’ll arrive in Trondheim—Norway’s former capital and now its third-largest city. Discover the majestic Nidaros Cathedral, the Old Town Bridge, and the energetic ambiance shaped by students, history, and innovation.

Day 4: Thursday – Trondheim to Molde via the Atlantic Road

Enjoy a tranquil morning in Trondheim before heading to Kristiansund, a coastal gem famed for its seafood and marine culture. We’ll stroll through its harborside streets before visiting the Kvernes Stave Church, a 14th-century wooden treasure housing sacred relics and historic ship models.

Our journey then takes an unforgettable turn as we drive the Atlantic Ocean Road—an iconic ribbon of highway that weaves through tiny islands and over arched bridges, where ocean waves sometimes leap onto the asphalt. We’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint before reaching Molde, a charming fjord town known for its panoramic vistas and vibrant flower gardens.

Day 5: Friday – Molde to Loen via Geiranger & Briksdal Glacier

Today promises some of the most majestic sights of the entire tour. We begin with a ferry ride across the Romsdal Fjord, entering a wonderland of snowy peaks and deep valleys. A second ferry takes us to Eagle Viewpoint, which towers over Geiranger Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its plunging waterfalls and vertical cliffs, it’s a sight to behold.

In Geiranger, enjoy time to explore or take an optional fjord cruise. Later, we continue to Briksdalsbreen Glacier, nestled in a pristine valley. Whether you hike or ride an electric cart, the journey to the glacier’s tongue is breathtaking. We end the day in Loen, a picturesque village where the fjord meets the mountains. Consider riding the Loen Skylift, one of the world’s steepest cable cars, to take in jaw-dropping views before dinner (included).

Day 6: Saturday – Loen to Bergen

Following a morning departure, our road to Bergen—Norway’s cultural capital—winds through stunning mountain passes, coastal inlets, and ferry crossings. By early afternoon, we arrive in Bergen and ascend Mount Fløyen by cable car for a panoramic introduction to the city.

Enjoy free time to explore Bryggen, the colorful Hanseatic wharf and UNESCO site. Meander through its narrow alleyways, visit local museums, or savor fresh seafood at the famed fish market.

Day 7: Sunday – Bergen to Oslo via Eidfjord & Vøringsfossen

Leaving Bergen, we cross the Hardanger Suspension Bridge, Norway’s longest, as we venture into the rugged interior. In Eidfjord, stop by the fjord’s edge before continuing to Vøringsfossen Waterfall, which plunges a staggering 182 meters into a lush canyon. Walk the viewpoints and feel the spray of this natural marvel.

We’ll traverse snow-cloaked highlands and frozen lakes before stopping for lunch in Geilo, a cozy ski resort. By evening, we reach Oslo, the vibrant capital. Take a night stroll through its revitalized harbor or climb the sloping roof of the Opera House for twilight views over the fjord.
