Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly met and transferred for a visit to the Giraffe Centre. Here, you will enjoy a close encounter with the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes and learn about conservation efforts in Kenya. After the visit, you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Lunch and dinner will be at your own cost, allowing you to choose from a variety of dining options in the city. Overnight in Nairobi. 

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and begin your scenic drive toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley and rolling countryside, with picturesque viewpoints along the way. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in time for a hot lunch, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, head out for an exciting game drive across the vast savannah, where you may encounter lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, and herds of plains game. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by nature. 

After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara, exploring different wildlife-rich areas of the reserve. With ample time on safari, you’ll have excellent opportunities to observe predators, large herbivore herds, and a wide variety of birdlife. A packed lunch will be enjoyed at a scenic picnic spot inside the park, keeping you immersed in the safari experience throughout the day. In the evening, return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following breakfast, check out and depart the Maasai Mara for Lake Naivasha. The drive showcases Kenya’s changing landscapes, transitioning from open savannahs to lush highlands. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot lunch at your lodge before heading out for a relaxing afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Glide across the calm waters as you spot hippos and abundant birdlife while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay by the lake.

After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will connect with your onward flight back home. As your journey comes to an end, depart with wonderful memories of Kenya’s wildlife, landscapes, and warm hospitality.
