Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan & City Tour

Arrive at Zvartnots International Airport at 11:20 hrs (Flight G9 244). After a warm meet-and-greet, transfer to Yerevan, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, with a history dating back to the 8th century BC. Begin a guided city tour starting at Republic Square, the heart of the capital and one of its most iconic landmarks. The square is surrounded by five remarkable buildings including the National Art Gallery and History Museum of Armenia, the Government House, Central Post Office, Marriott Armenia Hotel, and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Enjoy views of the famous singing fountains, a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. Continue on foot to the modern part of the city, visiting Northern Avenue, the Opera House with Swan Lake, and the impressive Cascade Monument, a vibrant cultural center adorned with unique contemporary sculptures. In the evening, the Cascade comes alive with lights, music, and people from around the world.

Transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Garni Temple – Geghard Monastery – Vernissage Market

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to visit the Garni Pagan Temple (1st century AD), built by King Tiridates I and dedicated to Mithra, the God of the Sun. This is the only surviving Hellenistic temple in Armenia, notable for its grand stairway symbolizing humility before the sun deity. Stop at the Arch of Charents, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Ararat and Yerevan. Named after the great Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, this scenic viewpoint is a favorite photo stop. Continue to the Geghard Monastery (13th century), a UNESCO World Heritage Site partially carved into rock. Originally known as Ayrivank (Monastery of the Cave), it later became known as Geghardavank, meaning Monastery of the Spear. Visit the vibrant Vernissage Flea Market, where you can browse traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, and local artwork. Later, enjoy a cultural experience in Garni village with a traditional Lavash baking ceremony in an underground clay oven (tonir). Learn how to prepare local sandwiches using lavash and cheese. This ancient tradition is recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Day 3: Optional - Tsaghkadzor – Lake Sevan Excursion

After breakfast, depart for Tsaghkadzor, a popular mountain resort town located at the foothills of the Teghenis Mountains, approximately 50 km from Yerevan. Known for its ski slopes in winter and outdoor activities in summer, Tsaghkadzor also features the historic Kecharis Monastery. Enjoy an optional ropeway ride to the summit of Mount Teghenis, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding alpine landscape. Continue to Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world, situated at 1,897 meters above sea level. Climb the steps to the Sevan Peninsula and enjoy panoramic views of the crystal-blue lake. Explore the area and take time to appreciate the natural beauty of this iconic Armenian landmark.

Return to Yerevan in the evening.

Day 4: Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, complete check-out formalities. Transfer to Zvartnots International Airport approximately 3–3.5 hours prior to your departure flight. Depart Armenia with unforgettable memories of its rich history, culture, and landscapes..
