Scenic Sri Lanka

Depart Sharjah on Air Arabia at 07:50, arriving Colombo at 13:45. Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, begin an exciting city tour of Colombo, visiting the historic Dutch-Portuguese Fort area, Independence Square, the National Museum, the BMICH, and the Old Parliament. Drive through elegant residential neighborhoods and see a blend of Hindu temples, Buddhist temples, churches, and mosques. After the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Colombo (Ramada or similar).

After breakfast, transfer towards Kandy with a stop at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to rescued and orphaned elephants. Watch the elephants being fed and observe them bathing in the nearby river. Continue to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka, surrounded by lush hills and scenic landscapes. Check in to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a vibrant traditional cultural performance featuring Kandyan dances, drumming, and fire-walking displays. Overnight: Kandy (Earls Regent or similar).

Begin the day with a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic before departing for the scenic hill country. En route, stop at the iconic Ambuluwawa Tower, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Continue through lush tea plantations to Ramboda Falls, one of Sri Lanka's most beautiful waterfalls. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as 'Little England,' known for its colonial architecture, cool climate, and beautifully maintained gardens. Overnight: Nuwara Eliya (The Grand Hotel or similar).

After breakfast, visit a renowned tea plantation and factory to learn about Ceylon Tea production. Continue towards Ella and enjoy the famous scenic train journey through rolling tea estates, mist-covered mountains, tunnels, waterfalls, and charming villages. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, one of Sri Lanka's most photographed landmarks. Spend time exploring Ella and admiring its spectacular natural beauty. In the evening, visit the sacred Seetha Amman Temple, linked to the Ramayana legend. Return to Nuwara Eliya. Overnight: Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast, proceed to the coastal town of Bentota. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic Madu River Boat Safari through lush mangrove forests and small river islands. Visit local cinnamon plantations and traditional village communities along the river. Later, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, where conservation efforts help protect endangered sea turtles. The remainder of the day is free to relax on the beach. Overnight: Bentota (Cinnamon Bey or similar).

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at the resort before checking out. Later, proceed to Colombo International Airport for your return flight to Sharjah (Air Arabia departs 14:35, arrives 17:45). As your Sri Lankan journey comes to an end, take home wonderful memories of the island's cultural heritage, scenic hill country, wildlife encounters, and pristine beaches.
