Your day begins with an optional visit to the Palace of Versailles (admission not included), the former residence of French kings, famous for its magnificent gardens and opulent architecture. After returning to Paris, enjoy a guided visit to the vibrant Montmartre district, known for its cobblestone streets, artists’ studios, and the iconic Sacré-Cœur Basilica. This morning, we head straight to the Eiffel Tower where you’ll ascend to the second level (ticket included), offering sweeping views of the city. Afterwards, enjoy a serene one-hour cruise along the Seine River, gliding past the city’s most iconic landmarks. The afternoon is yours - explore chic boutiques, sip coffee in sidewalk cafés, or visit one of the city’s world-class museums. Note: Due to potential long queues, the Eiffel Tower visit may be rescheduled for Sunday.
OPTIONAL - MOULIN ROUGE SHOW 23:00 HRS – 160EUR
Today we travel south into the heart of Burgundy, France’s legendary wine region. Our first stop is Beaune, a postcard-perfect town with flower-lined streets and a rich winemaking heritage. After some free time for lunch and exploration, we continue to Lyon, a city steeped in history and gastronomy. Ride the cable car to Notre-Dame de Fourvière for a panoramic view of the city, then enjoy free time to roam Lyon’s historic quarter. Note: On some departures, overnight may be in Chambéry, with a visit to its medieval Old Town and Château.
We cross into Switzerland, arriving first in Geneva, where we’ll admire the Palace of Nations, the famed Jet d’Eau fountain, and the lovely English Garden with its colorful flower clock. After lunch, we continue through Switzerland’s picturesque Three Lakes Region, following the shores of Lakes Geneva and Neuchâtel. We’ll stop in Neuchâtel for a lakeside stroll before reaching Zurich in the late afternoon.
Note: For smaller groups, travel from Geneva to Zurich may be by train without a stop in Neuchâtel.
This morning, we discover Zurich, Switzerland’s cosmopolitan capital of finance and culture, with its elegant streets and lively ambiance. Then, embark on a relaxing two-hour Lake Zurich cruise, stopping at quaint villages along the shoreline. Disembark at Rapperswil, a fairytale village known for its rose gardens and medieval castle. Return to Zurich by train and enjoy the efficiency of Swiss public transport.
Note: Local transfers may be done via public transport depending on group size.
Prepare for a day of alpine wonder! We’ll start with a scenic drive to the Grindelwald area in the Interlaken region. After a short break, take a cable car ride to an awe-inspiring mountain viewpoint and walk along a cliffside trail to a suspended bridge. Marvel at glacier views and enjoy a mountain lunch (included). Then, visit Lucerne, a jewel of a city with its wooden bridges, lakeside charm, and historic old town. After free time, return to Zurich.
Optional: Join an extended full-day excursion to Mount Titlis via rotating cable car, for stunning glacier views from over 3,000 meters.
After breakfast, our remarkable journey concludes. Whether you’re continuing onward or returning home, you’ll carry with you lasting memories of Parisian elegance, French vineyards, Swiss lakes, and the majestic Alps.!
